Damian is a 3rd generation carpenter who immigrated from South Africa in 2006, he currently manages Goodwood Construction Company with his brother Shane and father Dean who are also carpenters by trade.
Alex grew up helping his father in his home wood shop, as well as creating his own projects and was surrounded by exotic antique furntiture. Alex’s father Oliver and his grandfather Oliver were and are both very passionate about antique furniture, exotic wood and perfect finishes. Both generations had also travelled extensively to Africa so there was a synergy between the 2 families.
Our mission is now to build solid, unique and creative furniture pieces that can be shared by your family across generations. We strive to have the best quality, the best finished and to show our passion in every piece.
